In the heart of Munich there is a an historical building converted in one of the most sophisticated design hotel I have been, the Stadt Rosenmheim Hotel. I spent a night there when moved in in Munich and two years later I asked half day off from my job at Triumph to organised 4h shooting before to taketh flight back to Brussels the same evening.

Irina is a young dark-haired girl from Ukraine. She’s tall, almost my size, with Eurasian features, large chins and skin that needs of no foundation, big lips and thick dark eyebrows. When I said let's shoot natural, asking the makeup artist to just do a basic touch, I noticed an expression of disappointment on her face... models love makeup, maybe it gives them the idea of wearing a mask?! Maybe, for this reason, she kept almost all the time the eyes closed while taking her pictures. I didn’t say anything and didn't mind at all, as it gave an intimate feeling to the pictures taken on the sofa of my studio.
