Monochrome Award 🎖

I had just returned to Brussels, the summer had just ended and the woods leading from LaCambre to the battlefield of Waterloo were beginning to turn golden.

The days were still hot, the Indian summer they call those last days of intense light where even here in the north the sun manages to warm a few hours also in the afternoon.

And so, at the request of a young half-Samoan model to enrich her portfolio, I decided to take a long walk towards the abandoned gallop in the middle of the Forêt de Soignes.

When we reached a ridge where a few rays of sunlight could penetrate the vegetation, Alyssa began to undress and walk barefoot. I did nothing but follow her, completely at ease among the yellowing foliage. Her dark skin and indigenous features instantly gave a tribal flavour to the photos peeking through the camera's small display.
